It is now confirmed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Will it soon debut in the flagship battle royale with several different brands sparring with possibly similar specifications? The flagship smartphone is said to surpass its predecessor OnePlus 9, by around 40%. The phone will indeed support a 5G SIM card.

According to the current reports, the OnePlus 10 and 10 Pro will debut during the first quarter of 2022, within January or February. The early launch will be in China, while the global versions are expected to come out later in March or April. Samsung is also targeting the same time for launching their Galaxy S 22. So let us enlighten you about what you can expect from the upcoming OnePlus 10 and the OnePlus 10 Pro and their pros and cons in this article.

OnePlus 10 Pro Design, Processor, Camera, Performance

OnePlus is going for a new design in terms of placing the rear camera. The phone will have a Snapdragon 8 processor, and it will have three different colors. Here, we have talked about every part of the phone in detail.

Design:

At the top left corner, the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a punch-hole for the selfie camera. In addition, on the right spine has the lock-unlock button; and on the left, there are the volume rockers. The OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to have four different colors: Black, White, and Light Blue. According to the revealed images, a USB Type-C connector is present. But the SIM tray and the speaker grille are missing. It is said that the phone’s measurement will be 163.0×73.8×8.5mm, and will have a thickness of around 10.3 mm.

Display:

The OnePlus 10 Pro will have a large display of 6.7inch and will probably equip the expensive Samsung panel for the display. The aspect ratio of the OnePlus 10 Pro will be 20:9 and will come with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Performance:

The flagship beast will have a performance yet to be seen in the flagship industry. The 4 nm Snapdragon 898 chipset is the USP of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The base variant of the flagship will have 128 Gb of internal storage RAM and is expected to be 8 Gb to 12 Gb for different variants.

Camera:

The rear camera of the OnePlus 10 Pro is going to be interesting. It will have a 64 MP primary camera, a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera of 8 MP with 2x optical zoom. There will also be a 5 MP macro photo camera. The selfie camera has a 16 MP Primary and a 2 MP secondary Camera. The camera will have all necessary features like LED flash, autofocus, digital zoom, and ISO control. Although the specifications are not yet confirmed, the leaked reports show that these are the possible features that the OnePlus 10 Pro will have.

Battery:

The OnePlus 10 Pro battery is going to be insane. The big and long-lasting battery will have a 5000 mAh battery that can be charged by a powerful 125-watt fast charger. So now you don’t have to wait longer for your phone to be charged. This is just a dream come true moment for all the gamers out there. The large battery of the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a great battery backup for them to enjoy their games fully; the fast charge will put an extra advantage to that powerhouse.

OnePlus 10 Pro Pros & Cons

Although the phone has not come out yet, the image experts have drawn out some pros and cons from the leaked specifications. Here are some of the pros and cons of the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Pros

  • The Snapdragon 4nm chipset indeed is the main focus of the phone, and it has the tech geeks eagerly waiting.
  • 5000 mAh battery with a 125-watt fast charger. The battery capacity of the OnePlus 10 Pro surely is an advantage for buyers.
  • 120Hz refresh rate will offer a smoother gaming experience and a great video and cinematic feel.

Cons

  • From the images that have been leaked, the OnePlus 10 Pro looks pretty bulky. It may be their new unique design, but a bulky design for a flagship sure is not great for in-hand feels.
  • There should have been a micro sd card. The phone indeed has a massive storage of 128 GB, and we use cloud-based and streaming platforms these days. Still, a lack of a micro-sd slot is a major minus point.

Bottom Line

The OnePlus 10 Pro has tough competition with different brands like Samsung S 22, iPhone X, and Google Pixel 6. The price of the smartphone is said to be around Rs. 65000 to Rs. 70000 in India. The specifications do give the OnePlus 10 Pro the upper hand. But how the customers react when it comes out remains to be seen.
